Trainer – VET Building & Construction (contract 27/1/2026 to 28/1/2029) Role Overview : BUILDING AND CONSTRUCTION TEACHER / TRAINER We are looking for a highly motivated and passionate teacher to deliver Certificate II in Building and Construction to Year 10/11 & 12 students attending local schools. The role will involve teaching, curriculum development, assessment, and promoting safe, industry‑aligned training. Key Responsibilities Deliver quality instruction in Building and Construction across Year 10, 11 & 12. Develop and maintain effective lesson plans, assessments, and student progression records. Ensure compliance with safety and training regulations, including the current Working with Children Check. Support students in career pathways and provide ongoing professional development. Collaborate with the ONTTC team, local schools, and industry partners to enhance training outcomes. Qualifications & Requirements 15 years of carpentry and building construction trade experience. HSLC or equivalent; Teacher training and Education (TAE) qualification required – company will support and fund this within 6 months of commencement. Australian work rights required. Current Working with Children Check. Passion for vocational education and commitment to student success. Contract Details Full‑time 4‑day week. Contract dates: 27 January 2026 to 28 January 2029.
