About the position Newly created part-time role, responsible for ongoing implementation, review and improvement of our WHS management system, policies and procedures to ensure compliance with current and future legislation and requirements. This role will be a point of contact for all team members to raise issues and ideas, and be involved in the consultation processes. About you Demonstrated knowledge and experience in risk management practices, compliance oversight and reporting. Experience in WHS systems and understanding practical application to satisfy relevant legislation. Demonstrated ability in Microsoft suite. Positive attitude and collaborative approach. Able to provide current police clearance and willing to undergo medical if required. About the role Review all incident reports and investigations and assess/provide corrective actions. Conduct safety audits, provide reports to management, advise and implement control measures. Lead and support training activities. Conduct risk assessments, create and maintain risk registers. Assist in the planning, implementation, and support of WHS initiatives. Utilise the maintenance system software to ensure contractor compliance and timely services. Why work with us?
