Position Overview As the EHS Manager, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining a comprehensive EHS management system across diverse operations including contracting, building/construction, manufacturing, quarrying/mining, and paving. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement WHS policies, procedures, and programs Support iCIRT certification through best practice WHS and Environment strategies Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations Deliver WHS training programs and manage workers' compensation Collaborate with project managers to integrate WHS into all operations Implement an Environmental Management System (EMS) Establish waste management, water conservation, and dust control programs Develop plans for chemical management and environmental incident response Conduct environmental audits and deliver awareness training Qualifications and Experience Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or related field Certificate IV in Training and Assessment Minimum 7 years' experience in HSE leadership roles Proven track record in developing and implementing HSE management systems In‑depth knowledge of WHS and Environmental legislation across multiple jurisdictions Hands‑on experience managing safety in high‑density property construction projects The Ideal Candidate We're looking for a proactive leader with strong influencing skills and a passion for creating a positive safety culture.
