Position Overview TG Public Affairs is seeking a suitably qualified individual with a minimum of three years’ experience in government, the public service or large corporate organisations, with strong knowledge of the inner workings of the NSW State Government. Working in close partnership with the Managing Director, being a Director at TG Public Affairs will mean you have responsibility for providing advice to clients on how you can directly advocate on their behalf. The successful candidate will be proactive, adaptable, and committed to staying informed of current affairs and policy developments. Key Responsibilities Business Development Support or lead Business Development activity undertaken by the firm. Provide inputs into formal business proposals. Participate in ‘pitch’ presentations when appropriate. Stakeholder Relationships and Skills Maintenance Maintain and expand relationships with political players, ministerial and shadow ministerial staff, senior bureaucrats and others to assist in achieving client outcomes. Maintain a deep understanding of current affairs and policy development. Account Management Participate, with other Principals, Directors, in client account management. Communicate with clients to understand their commercial interests. Build and maintain strong, long‑lasting client relationships. Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts and customer stakeholders. Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our service solutions according to customer needs and objectives. Clearly communicate the progress of work initiatives to internal and external stakeholders. Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed.
