About the role As a Senior Buyer at Peppermayo you will be responsible for end‑to‑end product lifecycle, working with Design on Trends for the range, all the way through to it appearing Online and in our Campaigns. A leader in the Buying team, collaborating with Business leaders, it’s an exciting role, that you can really make your own. What You’ll Be Doing Responsible for managing and building a commercial, yet desirable range for our Global customers, which meets sales and margin targets. Managing the RRP architecture across the ranges for all channels. Managing the OTB Budget and ensuring option plans are met for the range. Understand and fill gaps in the range, ensuring we have enough options to meet sales targets, through newness, recolours and move‑ons. Reporting to the Head of Buying and Planning, you will be responsible for rolling up spend across all categories, ensuring that OTB targets are met. Focusing on growth in the US, you will be accountable for ensuring the right product assortment to drive this growth. Clear understanding of our customers by region, ensuring we have the correct offerings for seasonality and key events for both northern and Southern Hemisphere. Weekly reporting, which includes trade report, best and worst sellers, new arrivals performance, repeat orders and markdown management. In conjunction with Head of Planning and Buying, sign off monthly capsules to create a balanced range aligned with trade results and trend research. Seasonal analysis including Monthly SWOT, reviewing key learnings and must haves for future ranges. Alongside the Design team suggest and manage move on styles, repeats and recolours to ensure strong sell through. Accountable for end‑to‑end execution of the product from order placement, ranging, shipment and sell through. Accountable for ensuring all products hit desired margin targets through strong negotiation yet maintaining the best quality for our customers. Managing all PO deliveries to ensure on time and ready for collection launches. Maintain a strong awareness of our competitors and what is happening in the marketplace, for Trends, RRP’s and new opportunities. Collaborating with Ecommerce, Creative, Social and PR teams to ensure the product has its best foot forward. Provide support, training and coaching to direct reports to develop their skills and support them in their career goals. What You’ll Bring Minimum 6 years’ experience as a Buyer in Fashion retail, managing collections end to end. Previous experience with global markets, specifically the US. Preferable experience in a fast fashion or volume lead Business. Strong negotiation skills and ability to build relationships with our suppliers. Ability to analyse data and use this to make key decisions, about current and future ranges. Passionate about product and aware of global trends that could benefit the brand. A positive, proactive energy that thrives in a fast‑paced, collaborative creative environment. Management experience of a small successful team Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment Driven and self‑motivated with a proactive and positive attitude.
