The successful applicant will need to be an experienced Butcher, be enthusiastic and committed to the continued delivery of premium products and will have knowledge of: Key Responsibilities Supervise, train, and support a team of 10–12 butchers and meat production staff Ensure daily targets for output, quality, and accuracy are consistently met Oversee cutting, trimming, deboning, portioning, and packaging operations Maintain strict adherence to food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety regulations Monitor inventory levels, minimise waste, and coordinate with purchasing and production teams Troubleshoot operational issues and implement process improvements Ensure equipment is properly maintained and report any concerns promptly Qualifications & Skills Proven experience as a butcher, production lead Previous supervisory or team‑leading experience preferred Strong knowledge of meat cuts, processing techniques, and food safety standards Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills Ability to work in a cold‑room environment and lift moderate to heavy loads Reliable, detail‑oriented, and committed to high‑quality work What we offer Permanent Employment with Monday to Friday hours Competitive rates Early Start – Early Finish = Great work/life balance Friendly and experienced team Established in 1981, Top Cut Foods is Australia’s specialist butcher. #J-18808-Ljbffr
