Junior Business Developer

Ryrie Office Machines is expanding its sales capacity and we are seeking a motivated and confident Junior Business Developer to support our team. Working three days per week, this role focuses on generating new leads, opening doors with local businesses, and helping grow our client base across the region. About the Role This is an ideal opportunity for someone eager to develop their sales skills in a supportive environment. You will work closely with our senior sales staff to research opportunities, create pipelines, follow up leads, and engage with potential customers across Geelong and surrounding areas. Some previous sales or business development experience is preferred. Key Responsibilities Identify new business opportunities and build lead lists through research and community engagement. Make first contact with potential clients via calls, emails, and in-person visits. Support the sales team by coordinating appointments and conducting follow-ups. Maintain accurate lead records and track outreach activity. Represent Ryrie Office Machines professionally across the region. Achieve sales targets with 1.8% commission on confirmed sales. Use the company car for client visits and lead generation activities. About You We are seeking someone who is enthusiastic, outgoing, and ready to learn. You will have: Australian citizenship is required for this position. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Confidence in speaking with new people and building rapport quickly. A positive, proactive approach and willingness to develop sales capabilities. Interest in business, technology, or office equipment is an advantage but not essential. Strong organisational skills and the ability to work both independently and in collaboration with the sales team. A valid driver's licence. A full driver's licence is required.
