About the role This is a six-month contract for a Social Media and Marketing Coordinator role based in our Paddington and Potts Point salons. You will be responsible for managing and growing our social media presence across multiple platforms, creating engaging content, and interacting with our online community to drive brand awareness and customer engagement. What you’ll be doing Plan, create and publish high-quality social media content across 3 Instagram accounts, 3 TikTok accounts, Facebook, Google Business and other relevant platforms. Develop and implement a social media strategy to increase brand visibility, follower growth and engagement. Monitor social media conversations and respond to customer queries and comments in a timely manner. Collaborate with the Directors to strategise, plan and schedule. Analyse social media performance and provide regular reports on key metrics and insights. Stay up-to-date with social media trends and best practices to continuously improve our social media presence. Manage influencers and models to create engaging content. Assist in planning and executing digital marketing campaigns, including email marketing, paid social advertising, and influencer partnerships. Conduct market research and stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities. Support event promotion and marketing initiatives both online and offline. Maintain brand consistency and voice across all digital platforms. What we’re looking for A minimum of 2 years of experience in a social media and marketing coordinator or similar role, ideally within the marketing or communications field. Strong understanding of major social media platforms, with a strategic approach to leveraging them for business success. Skilled in developing innovative growth strategies to maximise engagement, expand reach, and drive sustainable growth. Excellent written and visual communication skills, with the ability to create engaging, on‑brand content. Creative mindset and an eye for aesthetics to produce visually appealing social media posts. Familiarity with social media management tools and analytics. Proactive, organised and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Passion for social media and marketing and staying up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices.
