Secondary TAS Teacher – St Paul’s Catholic College, Booragul Permanent full‑time role commencing January 2026, located in Booragul. Job Description Teachers in a Catholic school have a unique role, ensuring each child grows academically and spiritually, and lives purposeful lives. The main responsibilities include: Invite students and families into a faith‑filled educational experience. Promote the school as a place of learning and excellence, nurturing creativity and curiosity. Differentiate learning for students according to their needs and abilities, and create effective assessment practices and quality teaching programmes. The teacher will promote contemporary evidence‑based learning, wellbeing principles (including digital learning) and implement pedagogical practices that impact student learning outcomes. All teachers are required to work within the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers. Experience / Criteria Desired Skills and Experience Demonstrate clear understanding of and personal commitment to Catholic Education, supporting the Catholic ethos. Plan and prepare contemporary, compliant teaching programmes and assessments that meet diverse student needs and learning styles. Utilise assessment and school data effectively to optimise outcomes. Collaborate with staff and community to establish productive partnerships. Show innovative, agile mindset that supports continuous improvement. Qualifications Qualification as a four‑year trained teacher. Active NESA accreditation. Current paid NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC) number. Completion of anaphylaxis training. Completion of CPR training. Conditions of Employment Salary in accordance with the New South Wales & Australian Capital Territory Catholic Systemic Schools Enterprise Agreement 2023.
