The Mount Druitt Dental Clinic, located within the hospital, provides high‑quality dental care for adults and children, including prosthetic services. What you’ll be doing This temporary full‑time position, supported through the WSLHD Aboriginal Training Pathways Program, is a 12‑month contract for a Dental Assistant – WSLHD Trainee. Trainees in Dental Assisting are contracted under an NSW training contract and will automatically be enrolled in a Certificate III in Dental Assisting. The trainee will undertake educational and clinical responsibilities in all aspects of dentistry, including but not limited to chairside assisting, infection‑control management, instrument preparation, dental charting, sterilisation and patient care. Willingness and ability to work across multiple dental clinic locations within Western Sydney Local Health District, including Westmead and Mount Druitt Hospitals.
