Position Title: Senior Spatial Information Officer Remuneration: $118,967 – $127,941 Lead the development of a high-impact spatial project, building batch analysis workflows and refining spatial data to help manage water in Queensland. If you are passionate about using spatial technology to empower organisations to deliver their business in more informed and more efficient ways than this is the job for you. Operating from within the Spatial & Data Services team you will lead the delivery of the Bulk Watercourse Determination project. This project will develop a methodology to use spatial analysis to classify unmapped features on the Watercourse Identification Map (WIM). You will work with a regional reference group to establish criteria for the classification of WIM features. You will leverage your spatial expertise to access relevant datasets and develop analysis methodologies and batch processing workflows to assign these classifications. You will work closely with the Spatial Services, Remote Sensing and Data Services teams to access datasets and build automated workflows.
