Overview We’re looking for a commercially minded and partner-obsessed Associate Partner Manager to join our Australia Partnerships team. In this role you’ll manage partnerships who are new to Contentful, just starting their partnering journey with us, or see the opportunity to grow their business alongside us in-market. You’ll act as a trusted advisor – getting to know your partners' businesses, helping them see the value in partnering with Contentful, and working with them to drive joint go-to-market success. Your role will be central to generating pipeline, delivering on scalable value add programs, and unlocking partner potential across the region. This is a lead-generating and commercially oriented role focused on building the foundation for long-term partner impact and customer success in region. Responsibilities Partner Portfolio Management: Own and grow a diverse partner portfolio across ANZ, focusing on those in early-stage, reactivated, or yet to be scaled growth mode. Partner Discovery: Build strong relationships and develop an understanding of each partner’s business model, solution offering, and strength in-market positioning. Prioritization: Analyze data and trends around partner potential and prioritize engagement based on alignment, interest, ability, and joint business opportunity. Lead Generation & Pipeline: Identify, activate, and influence opportunities through and with partners to generate and accelerate pipeline for the region. Joint Business Development: Support partners in understanding Contentful’s value proposition and uncovering joint use cases and go-to-market opportunities. Partner Experience & Advocacy: Be the first point of contact for your partners, solving challenges and advocating for their success internally. Scalable Engagement: Build and refine repeatable engagement programs that enable you to work efficiently at scale across a large partner base. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with Sales, Marketing, Solutions Engineering, and other teams to develop and support partner initiatives and drive measurable outcomes. Qualifications Commercial acumen – you’re energized by identifying opportunities, qualifying impact, and growing pipeline and value through meaningful partner relationships. Analytical mindset – you’re comfortable evaluating partner potential using data, market knowledge, intellectual curiosity and structured qualification frameworks. Relationship builder – you’re curious, empathetic, insightfully probing and great at getting to know a partner’s business and value proposition. Operationally strong – you can manage a high volume of partners with clarity and consistency, and you’re confident navigating systems and tooling. Strong communicator – you’re able to drive partner engagement through clear, persuasive communication across all channels. Passionate about Partnerships – you are experienced in developing and accelerating commercially oriented relationships and believe in a better together vision.
