Accounts Payable Officer

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will join a high volume work environment focusing on our Victoria Park Business Units - Events, Bistro & Golf. You will apply your expertise to accounts payable. Kelvin Grove offsite office. Your previous years of experience in an accounts payablepositionand your proven ability to communicate with influence and manage your time with precision while meeting your deadlines will contribute to your success in this role. We are seeking a team player with a friendly,can-do attitude, and an internal drive to work hard and to seek continual improvement. Skills & Experience: Minimum2 years commercial accounting experience in an accounts payable role, high volume processing and reconciliation including end of month procedures. Strong time management skills - proven ability to multi-task, prioritise, and work under pressure to meet deadlines as well as adapt to changing priorities. Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills are necessary and MYOB Advanced proficiency is desirable. Systematic and procedural approach. High level of attention to detail and accuracy, even when under pressure. Proven problem solving ability. Professional and proactive communication skills. Interpersonal skills that enable effective liaison with internal and external contacts. Key Personal Attributes: Accountable, reliable and a person of integrity. Positive, optimistic and solutions based attitude. Self motivated, demonstrates initiative and drive to succeed. Solid understanding of an effective team ethos.
