Position Details Remuneration: $37.03 - $57.10 per hour (dependent on qualifications) + superannuation + salary packaging. Location: Tamworth Community Health Service. About The Role Provide specialist one‑on‑one counselling, support, and advocacy for children and adults who have experienced recent or historical sexual assault. Deliver crisis response within the Tamworth Hospital Emergency Department, coordinating care for individuals who have been recently assaulted. Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals, NSW Police, and the Department of Communities and Justice to ensure clients receive holistic, timely, and compassionate support. Requirements Tertiary qualification in Social Work, Counselling, or Psychology with eligibility for membership to the AASW or Australian Counselling Association (ACA) or registration as a Psychologist with the APHRA. Additional Information To be eligible for permanent employment in this position you must be an Australian Citizen, a permanent resident of Australia, or a New Zealand citizen with a current New Zealand Passport.
