About the job Chef - Indian Curry and Tandoor Position : Chef Indian Cuisine - Curry and Tandoor Curry Twist,Petrieis seeking a talented and experienced Chef specialising in Indian cuisine to join our team. As a full-time Chef, you will play a crucial role in creating and delivering delicious and authentic Indian dishes to our customers. Responsibilities Prepare and cook a variety of Indian dishes, including curries, tandoori dishes, and biryanis, according to traditional recipes and standards Ensure all dishes are prepared and presented in a timely and efficient manner Monitor food inventory and order supplies as needed Maintain a clean and organised kitchen, following all food safety and sanitation guidelines Train and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring they are following recipes and maintaining quality standards Collaborate with management to develop new menu items and specials Ensure consistency and quality of all dishes by regularly tasting and adjusting seasonings as needed Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including portion control and waste management Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new techniques and ingredients into menu items Assist with catering events and large orders as needed Skills and Experience Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Chef specialising in Indian cuisine Minimum of Certifcate IV in Commercial Cookery equivalent qualification preferred Knowledge of Indian regional cuisine and cooking techniques Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously Strong leadership and communication skills Excellent time management and organizational skills Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Food safety and sanitation certification preferred If you are passionate about Indian cuisine and have a strong desire to create delicious and authentic dishes, we want to hear from you Join our team at and be a part of bringing the flavors of India to our community.
