Learning Support Coordinator – Greenacre Primary Campus This role carries a leadership allowance and is in addition to the Learning Support Teacher position. Commencement: Term 1, 2026. To view the School's strategic plan please visit About the role The Learning Support Coordinator will lead and manage the Learning Support (LS) team on campus, ensuring inclusive education practices are embedded across the school. This role involves developing and implementing programs, collaborating with teachers to identify and support students with diverse learning needs, and fostering a supportive environment for both students and staff. Reporting to the Dean of Learning Support, you will ensure compliance with relevant legislation and standards while working to continuously improve the quality of learning support services. Selection Criteria Demonstrates an understanding of the Islamic ethos of the school, supporting the school’s philosophy, values, beliefs, and mission whilst contributing to a caring and supportive environment for all students, parents, and staff. Ability to teach and model to the school community the religious beliefs of the school. Ability to embed the MFIS vision and educational philosophy effectively, resulting in successful outcomes for all learners. Commitment to ongoing professional development including the Graduate Certificate of Education – Islamic Education and a willingness to engage in continuous learning to embed the Islamic worldview and pedagogy. Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a Learning Support team, ensuring effective implementation of inclusive education practices throughout the school. Experience in developing and implementing learning support programs tailored to meet the diverse needs of students and aligned with school philosophy. Strong collaboration skills with teachers and leadership to support diverse learners. Experience in designing, implementing, and monitoring IEPs and intervention strategies. Knowledge of relevant legislation and standards related to inclusive education, ensuring continuous improvement in learning support services.
