About the Role AJC is seeking creative and driven Junior Architects/Designers to join our team. Our team is growing, and we have a pipeline of interesting projects. You’ll work closely with talented peers throughout every stage of the project lifecycle, working on a diverse range of projects. You will bring at least 2+ years of post‑qualification experience as a Designer, following completion of a Master’s degree, with a proven track record working on large‑scale projects. Required Skills and Experience Professional qualification as an Architect or an equivalent overseas qualification +2 years post‑qualification experience as an Architect/Designer after completion of a master’s degree Proven knowledge and experience using Revit and Adobe Suite Proven conceptual, design and graphic skills Show initiative and the ability to respond proactively to guidance or instructions Knowledge of products, materials, and construction methods Be proactive, self‑motivated, and able to take initiative in response to direction from managers Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills A flexible and open attitude Job Responsibilities Collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams Learn from experienced professionals in the field Help transform creative concepts into practical, buildable solutions Apply advanced digital tools for design, modelling, and visualisation Strengthen your ability to present and communicate design ideas effectively Support clear and effective project communication Develop your skills by refining and enhancing project contributions Engage in an open studio culture that values feedback and continuous improvement AJC Offers A diverse team of talented individuals A competitive salary package, tailored to your experience and qualifications (A$75,000.00–A$95,000.00) Regular in‑house social events Opportunities to network externally and build industry connections A spacious studio, conveniently located near inner‑city transport links A dog‑friendly office environment End‑of‑trip facilities, including showers and bike storage Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at AJC by 2x To Apply To apply for this role, please attach your CV and a sample of your portfolio here.
