$92,000 – $98,000 + Super + Performance Bonuses Roshni by Raj in Mackay are seeking an experienced, driven Head Chef to take full leadership of a fast-paced, high-volume Modern-ish Indian Fusion kitchen in one of North Queensland’s busiest dining destinations . This is a hands-on leadership role for a chef who thrives under pressure, leads from the front, and delivers consistency at scale. This role suits a chef who wants stability, long-term growth, and genuine influence over a large multi-service operation including breakfast, lunch, dinner, functions, and catering. The Role You will be fully responsible for: End-to-end kitchen leadership across all services Managing and mentoring a large multicultural kitchen team Menu execution, training, and consistency standards Stock control, ordering, and supplier management Food cost, wastage control, and GP targets HACCP, food safety, and compliance Supporting functions, events, and high-volume trade Working closely with owners and senior management This is a true Head Chef role — not just a senior line cook position.
