Laucke Flour Mills is a family‑owned business and an iconic brand in the manufacture of premium quality flour and baking mixes for over 100 years. About the role This is a very busy role with high volume sales order processing duties and daily phone calls with customers as part of a highly engaged and high performing Sales Orders Clerks team. Applicants must be able to adapt with the team to meet business requirements. We are seeking a committed, energetic and diligent individual with solid communication and computer skills, who presents themselves as a professional, has high work ethic and integrity. Proactive, accountable, friendly and highly organised with great attention to detail 2+ years' experience in processing sales orders in a high‑volume time‑critical environment Clear, confident communicator with professional and engaging telephone manners Customer focused, comfortable explaining invoicing or product queries accurately and handling any complaints positively Ability to rotate responsibilities between different customer channels and customer order processing work‑flows Demonstrated team player and collaborative problem solver Job tasks and responsibilities This position is a shared first point of contact for all phone, email and digital orders and will be responsible for: Initiating trade customer orders and processing for dispatch through to invoicing in a deadline‑driven environment Collating and coordinating customer and account feedback to sales and distribution personnel Investigating and raising credit notes and claims Ad‑hoc administrative support as needed across the business CRM and ERP updating as required Liaising between operation logistics and sales team as required, to deliver high levels of customer experience Skills and experience Essential skills and experience: Great communication and positive attitude 2+ years' experience in a busy sales order processing and invoicing role in a 20+ staff office environment, utilising a large‑scale ERP system (QAD / MfgPro preferred but not essential) Competent user of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook Highly organised and demonstrates excellent attention to detail with ability to prioritise tasks and manage workflows Australian citizenship is required for this position Preferred skills and experience: CRM exposure, such as Microsoft Dynamics Prior experience working for a food manufacturer would be beneficial but not essential Willing to undergo a series of tests to demonstrate existing skillset (for those reaching 2nd interview stage of the selection process) Application process Please ensure that your application includes both a cover letter and resume and is lodged via this Seek website directly.
