Join the team at Great Adventures and help create unforgettable experiences for our guests visiting the Great Barrier Reef We’re looking for an enthusiastic and customer‑focused Retail Assistant to work in our Reef Memories souvenir store. Key Responsibilities Deliver exceptional customer service to all guests. Maximise sales opportunities through product knowledge and upselling. Operate the point‑of‑sale system accurately and efficiently. Handle cash and EFTPOS transactions and complete daily balancing. Maintain stock levels and assist with regular stocktakes. Ensure the store is clean, tidy, and well‑presented at all times. Assist with product displays and merchandising. Work independently while maintaining a high level of professionalism. Key Details of the Position Part‑time position on a 7‑day rotating roster. Hours between 7:30 am–1:30 pm. Includes weekend and public holiday work. Based at the Cairns Reef Fleet Terminal. What We’re Looking For Proven sales record with a strong customer focus. Previous experience in cash handling and daily balancing of cash registers. Experience in stock control and stocktaking. Ability to work independently and without supervision. Reliable and flexible to work across a rotating roster. Well‑presented, with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
