We are #ProudlyGRC Technical Officer Council is seeking to appoint a permanent part time Technical Officer to contribute to Council’s success. Flexibility with work hours A diverse role with a focus on creating asset renewal programs Opportunities to grow and develop with Council About the Role The purpose of this position is to provide technical support for community and stakeholder engagement, and project planning in order to identify new and upgrades to assets, which meets the evolving regional needs while minimising whole of life cost and risk. You will bring: Sound communication (verbal and written English) skills, particularly in report and planning document writing as well as face to face consultation. Experience in community and stakeholder engagement. Problem solving, organisation, prioritisation and sound analytical skills. Experience working with the Planning Act 2016, Local Government Infrastructure Plans and Infrastructure Charges. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team and independently. Proficient keyboard skills and experience using Microsoft Office Suite and operating corporate business systems. Legally able to drive a motor vehicle in Queensland. Availability to work outside normal hours and travel as required. Eligibility & Pre-employment Checks To be eligible for this position, the candidate must have applicable working rights.
