Installation-Technical Manager - Flooring Installation and Technical Manager - Flooring Respected global brand – now Australian owned Join a long established manufacturing business with new re-vitalized horizons Permanent long term position with competitive salary Armstrong Flooring is looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to deliver technical support and training in respect to installation and maintenance of its quality flooring products. Armstrong Flooring, Australia’s only resilient floor coverings manufacturer, and a key supplier to health and other commercial markets, has an established reputation delivering quality products and customer service excellence - making them a company of choice for leading architects, designers and builders across Australia. Having recently been purchased by a well known Australian family, the business is now aggressively increasing its presence in the flooring market throughout Australia - with intention in early 2026 to add carpet to its exciting sheet vinyl, hybrid, LVP , laminate and carpet tiles ranges. Reporting to our Chief Operations Officer you will be responsible to provide technical support in respect to installation and maintenance of Armstrong Flooring products to internal staff and customers and the resolution of product performance related issues. You will also be responsible for the development and delivery of product, installation and maintenance training and development of content for technical bulletins/instructions. Preferably you will have a trade qualification and at least 5 years experience in flooring installation with a strong understanding of sheet vinyl and resilient hard flooring installation and maintenance. You will have proficient computer skills including MS Office (particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and proven ability to draft technical reports and product installation/maintenance guides. You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with flooring installers, contractors and retailers. Previous training experience would be an advantage. Excellent remuneration based on qualifications and experience.
