Business Development Manager – Out-of-Home Advertising (Direct and Agency Sales) About Us Captive Vision Outdoor (CVO) is an established, Australian-owned out-of-home advertising company. About the Role We’re looking for an experienced and driven Account Manager to join our growing sales team at CVO. In this role, you’ll be responsible for driving direct sales growth by working closely with business owners, marketers, and brand managers to deliver outdoor advertising campaigns that cut through and connect. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for media and relationship-based sales who thrives on uncovering client needs and developing creative, results-driven solutions. The position offers hybrid flexibility, with a preference for candidates based in the Melbourne area. What You’ll Be Doing Identify, engage, and grow direct client relationships across a range of businesses/industries where targeted outdoor media is a key marketing component. Develop tailored out-of-home advertising solutions that meet client marketing objectives. Prepare and present proposals, negotiate terms, and close new business opportunities. Manage ongoing client relationships to ensure successful campaign delivery and retention. Collaborate with internal operations and production teams to ensure seamless execution. Achieve and exceed individual sales targets and contribute to team revenue goals. Maintain accurate sales records, forecasts, and pipeline activity using CRM tools. About You 5+ years of sales experience, with 3 years minimum within media, marketing, or advertising. Proven success in direct B2B sales and relationship development. Strong understanding of marketing principles and how brands use OOH to drive results. Confident communicator with strong presentation and negotiation skills. Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work both autonomously and collaboratively. CRM proficiency (e.g., Salesforce) and solid Microsoft Office skills. A positive, proactive attitude with a genuine passion for helping clients grow their business.
