Pre-Sales Engineer – Data & Integration Solutions (PDM/PLM/ERP) Drive digital transformation for leading engineering and manufacturing clients. Join a specialist technology business delivering advanceddata management and integration solutions to the design, engineering and manufacturing sectors. As aData Solutions Consultant , you’ll combine yourtechnical expertise with yourconsultative mindset to design, demonstrate and deliver solutions that help clients unlock the full value of their PDM, PLM, ERP and MRP systems. This is aclient-facing, hands-on role that blendspre‑sales solution design withproject delivery and customer enablement — ideal for someone who enjoys both technical depth and commercial engagement. What You'll Do Partner in-field with Product Specialists to analyse business challenges and design tailored data solutions. Leadtechnical discovery workshops andsolution demonstrations , showcasing how technology drives measurable outcomes. Design, configure, and deployPDM, PLM, ERP and custom data management systems that integrate seamlessly with existing environments. Manageend‑to‑end project delivery — from scope and design to implementation, training and post‑deployment support. Act as atrusted advisor , providing guidance on system optimisation, integration opportunities, and process automation. This is a national role with interstate travel across NSW, QLD, VIC, TAS and New Zealand. The in‑field support to Product Specialists involves a few days of over‑night travel during the working days of the week (fully paid for) and the competitive remuneration package rewards your efforts. If you enjoy in‑field sales and travelling to see multiple clients interstate, this is a fantastic opportunity. What you'll bring Experience implementing or consulting acrossPDM, PLM or ERP systems . Strong understanding ofdata workflows, systems integration, and business process automation . Proven ability to run pre‑sales workshops, develop solution architecture, and manage projects to completion. Hands‑on experience with tools such asSOLIDWORKS PDM, Autodesk Vault, SAP, NetSuite or similar. Degree inEngineering, Computer Science or Information Systems (or similar) is preferred. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills — from technical teams to executive leadership. (Prince2 certification or equivalent project management skills are highly regarded.)
