Veterinary Director - Greencross South Tamworth 2 weeks ago Be among the first 25 applicants Company Description Greencross South Tamworth is both a GP hospital and small animal referral service, accepting referrals from approximately 60 regional and surrounding clinics. They offer advanced medical and surgical services that clients would otherwise be required to travel to a capital city to receive. In this role you will lead our diverse team; this includes an anaesthetic specialist, plus a wealth of experienced vets with special interests in areas such as ophthalmology, orthopaedics, medicine, general surgery, and exotics. As part of your package we are thrilled to provide access to the Lincoln Learning Institute's Leading Edge for Veterinarians This 52 week course valued at over $9000 will set you up for leadership excellence. The nursing team, many of whom have been with the clinic for over 20 years, are highly qualified, with all nurses holding a Certificate 4 or Diploma. They bring advanced skills and knowledge in areas such as anaesthesia and surgical nursing, behaviour and dog training. In addition to the regular GP clinic equipment, Greencross South Tamworth has on-site imaging facilities including CT scanner and fluoroscopy, high-end endoscopy and ultrasound. To further assist in surgery they also have surgical diathermy, orthopaedic kit and a full range of anaesthetic monitoring. They regularly perform spinal surgeries, TPLO, TTA, JPS, pinning, plating, external fixatures and thoracotomies. They provide oncology services including chemotherapy.
