About the Role We are seeking a Double Reeds Tutor (oboe and/or bassoon) to teach individual lessons and support the Year 5 Band Program. The role is casual/part‑time, approximately 3–4 hours per week. This appointment is effective Term 1, 2026, and offers the opportunity to contribute to a vibrant, supportive, and growing Performing Arts Department. Responsibilities Teach individual lessons to students of varying ages and abilities. Support the Year 5 Band Program and collaborate with the music department. Qualifications & Requirements Proven experience teaching double reeds to students of varying ages and abilities. Familiarity with AMEBand VCE music requirements. Availability to teach on Thursdays in line with the Year 5 Band Program. A commitment to nurturing musical development and performance confidence. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
