Principal Consultant, Employment Relations , Queensland Health Full time, Contract, Part time, Casual/Temporary Be the voice of expertise in Employment Relations. Provide expert employment relations leadership, drive strategic policy development and represent Metro South Health at Eight Mile Plains . This role is temporary full time for 6 months. Your new role: As the Principal Consultant, Employment Relations, you will play a key role in delivering expert industrial and employment relations advice across Metro South Health. You will: Lead the development, review and maintenance of HR policies, procedures and supporting frameworks. Provide high-level advice, research and analysis on complex employment relations and human resource matters. Represent Metro South Health in industrial tribunals and commissions, including preparing submissions and advocacy as required. Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including unions, government agencies and health service teams, while managing a small team and contributing to a positive workforce culture. About you: You are a strategic, influential and solutions-focused professional with deep expertise in employment and industrial relations. You will have: Demonstrated capability in analysing, developing and evaluating HR policy and procedure documentation within a complex service environment. A strong knowledge of industrial relations legislation, awards and agreements relevant to the Queensland public sector and public health system. A highly developed research, analytical, communication and advocacy skills, with the ability to prepare high-quality reports, submissions and advice. The proven ability to negotiate, influence and build productive relationships while providing leadership, coaching and support to others.
