Roofing operation manager

Roofxpro is a well-established, fast-growing roofing company servicing all aspects of residential and commercial roofing across Sydney. As we continue to scale, we’re seeking an experienced Roofing Operations Manager to take ownership of day-to-day operations and help drive the business forward. This is a hands‑on leadership role suited to someone who knows roofing inside out and can confidently manage people, projects, and performance across multiple jobs. The Role As Roofing Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the full delivery of roofing services, from scheduling and resourcing through to job completion and client satisfaction. Scope includes (but is not limited to): Planning and scheduling roofing projects across all service types Rostering crews and allocating labour efficiently Recruiting, onboarding, and managing subcontractors and in-house staff Supervising teams on site to ensure quality, safety, and productivity Training, mentoring, and developing roofers and apprentices Managing job handovers, variations, and completion sign‑off Monitoring budgets, costs, and job margins Using technology for job tracking, reporting, and performance management Maintaining clear communication with clients and internal stakeholders Leading by example and fostering a strong, team‑focused culture About You Extensive experience across multiple roofing systems and services Proven ability to manage crews, subcontractors, and multiple jobs at once Strong organisational and scheduling skills Confident communicator with a customer‑first mindset Comfortable using job management software, reporting tools, and tech in the field Natural leader who takes ownership and works well as part of a team Certificate III in Roof Tiling (or equivalent) What Roofxpro Offers Competitive, negotiable salary package (including super + workers comp) Company vehicle/ allowances and phone Performance incentives and bonuses Ongoing training and professional development Supportive, down‑to‑earth team culture Real opportunity to grow with a business on the rise Regular team events and a legendary end‑of‑year Christmas party If you’re an experienced roofing professional ready to step into a senior operational role — or already managing roofing operations and looking for a better opportunity — we’d love to hear from you.
