Overview Senior User Experience Researcher (Bangkok – Based, Relocation provided) Senior User Experience Researchers own end-to-end planning, execution, analysis and reporting of research projects, and consistently achieve research outputs needed by Product teams to inform strategic decisions. The research findings of Senior Researchers impact Agoda's business success by informing Product teams regarding design or design process, end user experience, product direction, market strategy or similar. Responsibilities Lead core end-to-end research activities, including defining objectives, hypotheses, methodology, execution, analysis, and communication of findings to stakeholders Demonstrate critical thinking beyond explicit business requests; function independently in operational research tasks Drive cross-discipline collaboration by sharing research insights and coordinating with other researchers and disciplines Communicate research results clearly to diverse audiences (business, design, engineering) and tailor messaging accordingly Contribute to the research community by sharing methodologies, coaching junior researchers, and supporting candidate screening Qualifications Master Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Human Computer Interaction, Information Science, Psychology, Social Science, or related field 10+ years of relevant experience in consumer-facing business domains Strong ability to plan, scope, conduct, analyze and communicate research Experience with qualitative and user-centered design methods (e.g., interviews, diary studies, direct observation, think-aloud usability testing) Experience with quantitative research (metrics, survey design, sampling, crosstabs, statistical concepts) Experience in evaluating, negotiating, and working with external research vendors Ability to describe user problems and business opportunities using both quantitative and qualitative data Demonstrated critical thinking beyond business requests Excellent storytelling and written/spoken communication; able to engage business people, designers, engineers and other stakeholders in English Collaborative work style in a dynamic, data-driven, creative environment Knowledge of data compliance and ethics in research activities Location & Benefits Bangkok-based role with relocation provided.
