User Experience Researcher (Bangkok-based, Relocation provided) At Agoda, we bridge the world through travel. Despite our size, we operate in a startup-like environment. Bangkok, Thailand (Relocation provided) UX Researchers own end-to-end planning, execution, analysis and reporting of research projects, consistently delivering outputs needed by Product teams to inform strategic decisions. The research findings impact Agoda's business success by informing design, user experience, product direction, and market strategy. Qualifications Master’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Information Science, Psychology, Social Science, or related field. 7+ years of relevant experience in consumer-facing business domains. Comfortable with planning, scoping, conducting, analyzing, and communicating research. Experience with qualitative methods (interviews, diary studies, observation, think-aloud usability testing, etc.) and quantitative methods (metrics, survey design, sampling, statistical concepts, etc.). Experience evaluating, negotiating, and working with external research vendors. Able to describe user problems and business opportunities using both quantitative and qualitative data. Strong critical thinking beyond business requests. Excellent storytelling and communication skills in English. Enjoy collaborative work in dynamic, data-driven, creative environment. Responsibilities Function independently in all operational research tasks. Lead core end-to-end research activities: objectives, hypotheses, methodology, execution, analysis, and communication. Make sound judgments on research opportunities, challenge research requests, propose solid solutions. Execute projects effectively, expanding breadth and depth of capabilities. Apply quantitative and qualitative approaches, triangulate findings, tools, and theories. Use tools to quantify research value and efficiency. Adapt established methods to product contexts, innovate new methods with senior researchers. Apply knowledge of data compliance and ethics. Drive cross‑discipline collaboration through research insights. Collaborate efficiently with researchers and other disciplines, with clear commitments.
