Warana Markets is seeking an experienced Barista to join our vibrant team in Warana, Queensland. As our Experienced Barista, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and high-quality specialty coffee to our loyal customers. This can be a casual or full-time position based on-site at our bustling market location. What you’ll be doing Preparing customers coffee orders quickly and efficiently insuring quality is maintained at all times. Providing outstanding customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all customers Ensuring the proper use and maintenance of coffee equipment Experience with a commercial coffee machine is required for equipment operation and maintenance Assisting with inventory management and ordering of coffee and related supplies Contributing to a positive and collaborative team environment What we’re looking for A minimum 2 years of experience as a Barista in a fast-paced cafe or hospitality setting A minimum of 2 years barista experience is strictly required with no exceptions for candidates with less experience Excellent knowledge of coffee preparation techniques, including espresso extraction, milk texturing, and latte art Strong customer service orientation and the ability to work efficiently in a team Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and public holidays Australian work rights are required for this position What we offer At Warana Markets, we are committed to creating a supportive and enjoyable environment for employees and customers.
