Job Summary Job Title: Senior Speech Pathologist Unit/Division: Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services > Operations - Service Unit 2 - Mental Health – Midland WA Location: Swan CAMHS (Midland Hub) Salary: $122,597 - $130,265 a year Work Type: Fixed Term - Part Time, Permanent - Part Time Position No: Closing Date: 4:00 PM About the Role As a Senior Speech Pathologist in ICAMHS East you will apply advanced skills in speech pathology to provide assessment, consultation and intervention for children and adolescents presenting to CAMHS with language and communication disorders. Key Responsibilities Individual assessment of children and adolescents with communication disorders Providing feedback and support to caregivers and families Consultation and clinical guidance regarding communication disorders for team members Consulting with schools and other community stakeholders Implementing individual and group interventions This role may include occasional travel to other clinics within the ICAMHS East area. Access to individual profession-specific clinical supervision and termly opportunities for education and networking with the Speech Pathologists in other CAMHS services. About Our CAMHS Directorates Community CAMHS – Community CAMHS offers mental health assessment and multidisciplinary intervention for children and young people up to the age of 18 years. Specialist Services and Day Programs – The Specialist Services and Day Programs consists of Complex Attention and Hyperactivity Disorder Service, Multisystemic Therapy, Pathways and Touchstone. These programs support children and young people who have complex mental health needs. Acute CAMHS – Acute CAMHS, based at Perth Children’s Hospital, has a mental health inpatient unit (Ward 5A), Paediatric Psychiatric Inpatient In-Reach Team (PPIRT), Eating Disorder Service and Gender Diversity Service.
