Senior Network Engineer (VIC) Join us as a Senior Network Engineer at Chamonix IT Solutions, based in Victoria. In this role, you will design, implement, and manage client network infrastructure in Microsoft‑centric environments, ensuring secure, reliable, and high‑performing operations. Responsibilities Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement robust and scalable network solutions, ensuring high performance, security, and reliability. Evaluate and optimise existing network infrastructure for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency. Implement and maintain network security measures, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards. Implement monitoring tools and proactively troubleshoot issues to minimise downtime. Work closely with cross‑functional teams, document network configurations and procedures, and maintain comprehensive documentation. Experience Required You have at least 5 years of experience in network engineering, with a solid understanding of both traditional and modern networking technologies. Proven experience in designing and implementing complex network solutions. Strong understanding of network security principles, with experience in implementing security measures. Proficiency in network monitoring tools and troubleshooting methodologies. Excellent collaboration, communication skills, and meticulous documentation habits. Solid understanding of networking protocols, hardware, and software, with experience in on‑premises and cloud‑based environments.
