This is a fantastic opportunity to not only practice your craft but also step into a role with managerial responsibilities , leading our dynamic barbershop operations and training the next generation of skilled barbers. Your Duties & Responsibilities The successful candidate will be a leader and a key part of the shop's daily operations. Your duties will include: Exceptional Barbering: Providing a full range of high-quality barbering services, including classic and contemporary haircuts, fades, shaves, and beard trims. Client Consultation: Consulting with clients on desired styles and recommending appropriate products and services. Managerial Tasks: Assisting the owner with daily shop operations, including scheduling, inventory management, and maintaining high standards in ensuring all policy and procedures are being implemented by junior staff at all times. Staff Training: Mentoring, motivating and training junior staff and apprentices to ensure service quality and consistency across the team. Customer Service: Maintaining a professional and friendly rapport with all clients to ensure repeat business. Product Knowledge: Demonstrating and promoting retail hair care and styling products. This role requires dedication as you will need to be available two evenings per week. Qualifications & Experience / What we are looking for : We are looking for a dedicated professional who meets the following criteria: Certificate III in Barbering and a minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience OR at least 3 years continuous, professional experience in a Barbershop environment. Proven reliability and strong communication and leadership skills. A passion for the industry and a desire to lead and inspire the next generation of barbers.
