We are now seeking a full time Specialist Technical Drafting to join our surface and underground Maintenance and Engineering team based at our Tropicana Gold Mine . This is a permanent role. Role Purpose Responsible for providing onsite capability to undertake design drafting, drawing updating and apply drafting standards to third parties along with the document control function of drawings and key identified documents. Accountabilities Provide Drafting and Document Control Services for the Maintenance and Processing Departments Undertake site engineering maintenance projects The identification of opportunities to improve CAD or similar systems that improve the delivery of Tropicana Maintenance department outcomes Develop accurate plans for maintenance scheduling, continually reprioritising the work that goes into the schedule for the maintenance team, occasionally developing schedules and coordinating resource availability depending on team workload and workforce availability. Provide support to enable compliance with registered plant and electrical safety obligations About You People are at the heart of everything we do. At least five years’ relevant experience in the gold mining industry for both surface and underground fixed plant equipment. Experience with the AS and the WA Mines Safety and Inspection Act and Regulations Trade Certificate or equivalent At least five years’ relevant demonstrated drafting experience with computer aided software systems Ability to manage design and implementation of projects Excellent time management and organisation skills The ability to obtain a National Police Clearance. Full Australian Working Rights Current C class Manual Drivers Licence.
