Direct message the job poster from Wiselink - Australia SAP HCM Consultant Location: Melbourne Duration of contract: 12+ months Total Yrs. of Experience: 8+ Years Relevant Yrs. of experience: 4+ Years The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8+ years’ hands‑on consulting experience, involved in the actual delivery working within SAP PY projects, preferably in AU payroll. Payroll Experience (current and within the last 3–4 years for AU) Experience in SAP AU Payroll (Mandatory) Experience of STP Payroll and in Australian legislation Experience in SAP HCM consultant Responsibilities & Core Competencies Translate business requirements into system requirements, design specifications and document new and/or existing application requirements. Ensure that new or existing systems meet business requirements and practices and that all application interface issues/concerns are understood, documented and addressed satisfactorily. Manage the process of change – strong experience in gathering requirements and preparing functional specifications and design documents. Issue Resolution – closely work with technical teams on high‑priority issues. Conduct/lead daily triage of tickets and track incidents. System Upgrades and Enhancements – collaborate with cross‑functional teams to manage system upgrades and enhancements. Conduct testing and ensure a smooth transition to new functionalities. Minimum 5 years’ experience as a functional analyst for SAP HCM PA, OM, Time Management modules and ESSMSS Fiori. In‑depth payroll process knowledge is a prerequisite (Australian payroll preferred), including knowledge of tax calculations. Hands‑on experience in designing and implementing solutions per business requirements. Ability to analyse extensive and complex data, information, processes and system solutions to produce effective and efficient business solutions in compliance with Best Practices.
