Fast. Fresh. Flavour-driven. We’re looking for a Head Chef to lead the kitchen of one of Brisbane’s most popular ramen and izakaya venues, as the group continues to expand. The owners already operate two highly successful restaurants and are now growing the brand further. This is a chance to step into a proven concept that’s loved by guests and buzzing every service. The Role Lead a team of 6–7 chefs in a high-volume ramen & izakaya kitchen. Maintain consistency, speed, and quality across every dish – from broths to izakaya favourites. Champion Japanese flavours while keeping the menu fresh and exciting. Oversee ordering, stock, training, and kitchen operations. Play a key role as the group continues to grow and scale. About You Proven experience as a Head Chef or strong Sous Chef in casual dining / high-turnover kitchens . Knowledge and appreciation of Japanese flavours and cooking techniques . A natural leader who thrives under pressure and brings the best out of their team. Commercially sharp – confident with costs, rostering, and efficiencies.
