The Role We are looking for a dynamic Warehouse Manager to join our team. As a Warehouse Manager, you will be a hands‑on support role on the warehouse floor. Key Responsibilities A. Warehouse Operations Oversee daily warehouse activities including inbound, outbound, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch. Ensure all warehouse tasks are completed accurately and within required timeframes. Implement and maintain warehouse operating procedures and SOPs. Maintain high levels of productivity, accuracy, and service quality. Monitor inventory levels, conduct cycle counts, and ensure stock integrity. Lead, supervise, and motivate warehouse staff including team leaders and warehouse operators. Plan rosters, allocate tasks, and monitor workflow to optimise labour utilisation. Conduct performance reviews, coaching, and development plans. Facilitate training for new hires and ongoing upskilling of existing staff. Promote a positive, respectful, and safety‑focused team culture. C. Safety, Compliance & Risk Management Ensure compliance with WHS regulations, Manual Handling guidelines, and company policies. Conduct workplace inspections, toolbox talks, and safety training. Investigate incidents, maintain safety records, and implement corrective actions. Ensure proper use, maintenance, and licensing of warehouse equipment (forklifts, RF scanners, pallet jacks). D. Logistics & Transport Coordination Review delivery schedules and resolve transport delays or issues. Manage loading dock operations and ensure efficient flow of goods. E. Operational Efficiency & Process Improvement Continuously improve warehouse layout, space utilisation, and workflow design. Implement best practices to enhance picking accuracy, turnaround times, and freight optimisation. Analyse operational KPIs and develop action plans to improve performance. Participate in continuous improvement projects including automation, WMS upgrades, and process redesign. F. Inventory & Systems Management Oversee stock control, cycle counts, and reconciliation against WMS data. Ensure accurate data entry and real‑time visibility of inventory movements. Monitor ageing stock, discrepancies, and product damages. Liaise with internal departments to support operational needs. Interface with clients to address warehouse‑related concerns or performance updates. Maintain positive working relationships with suppliers and logistic partners. H. Reporting & Administration Generate daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports. Track KPIs including productivity, pick accuracy, and stock variances. Maintain documentation for audits, compliance checks, and internal reviews. Qualifications & Experience Degree in Supply Chain Operations, Warehousing, Logistics, or related field. Minimum 5-10 years experience in a warehouse supervisory or managerial role. Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory systems, and logistics processes. Demonstrated leadership experience managing diverse teams. Excellent communication, planning, and problem‑solving skills. Proficiency in WMS, MS Office, and data reporting tools. A valid forklift license is a must as you may need to be hands‑on as required. Experience managing client relationships and SLAs. Good SAP/ERP knowledge.
