Our Home Health program delivers in-home support services to our aged care customers to help them live independently, supported and empowered, within their own homes and communities. We are currently recruiting Home Care Support Workers for the Parramatta and surrounding areas including Dundas, North Parramatta, Rydalmere, Winston Hills, Baulkham Hills, Castle Hill, Beaumont Hills, Dural, Kenthurst, Bell Vista, Glenhaven, Prospect, Seven Hills, Toongabbie, Bungarribee, Eastern Creek, Blacktown, Doonside, Kings Park, Marayong, Parklea, Quakers Hill, Mt Druitt, Oakhurst, Plumpton, Riverstone, Rooty Hill, Schofields, Wentworthville, Girraween, Westmead, Pendle Hill, Merrylands, Granville, Greystanes. What’s On Offer Contract Type: Permanent Part-Time or Casual (based on your location and availability) Pay: $29.81 - $33 per hour (dependent on experience) + 11.5% super + travel allowance of $0.92 per KM + paid travel time Hours: 20–30 hours per fortnight with opportunities to flex up Smartphone and Uniform – ready when you join us A fully supported and paid Induction program Become Cert III qualified in Individual Support (Aged Care) all fees paid (for eligible employees) Fitness Passport - a discounted gym membership program (for eligible employees and their families) Your New Role Help at Home: such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation etc. Transportation and Personal Care: Assisting customers with appointments, shopping, social outings, showering, toileting, feeding, etc. Client Awareness: Building relationships with clients and their families, conducting client observations with ongoing support and training Safety Practices: Adhering to health and safety guidelines and policies to keep yourself and our customers safe Key Requirements Current Australian Driver’s License and ownership of a reliable, comprehensively insured vehicle Flexibility and availability to work rosters between Monday to Friday All Australian Unity Employees must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 with a minimum of 2 doses Align to our values of Warm, Bold & Honest Preferred Experience and Qualifications Disability Support Worker Community Services / Mental Health worker Assistant in Nursing (AIN) Bachelor of Social Work / Nursing Whether you’re experienced or new to the industry, we’d love to hear from you After submitting your application, you’ll receive a brief Pre-Employment Questionnaire via HireVue to help us get to know you better.
