Role Description & Criteria Applications are invited for a full‑time, fixed‑term position as a Classroom Teacher commencing on Tuesday 27 January 2026. The role is for the 2026 school year. The successful applicant will demonstrate a commitment to Catholic education, the safety and wellbeing of children, and will be able to provide students with a rich and rewarding educational experience. They will embrace a collegial, team‑based approach to teaching and learning. Key Responsibilities and Expected Competencies Provide a safe, caring, inclusive, and respectful learning environment. Plan and deliver engaging learning experiences to students from Year 2, in line with the local curriculum and the Catholic ethos. Use knowledge of the science of learning to differentiate instruction across a range of abilities. Support and respect the ethos of the school and its environment while caring for and supporting students. Demonstrate enthusiasm, commitment and the ability to deliver the appropriate curriculum. Qualifications & Requirements Victorian Institute of Teaching registration. Relevant teaching qualification and experience. Knowledge of the science of learning. Accreditation to teach Religious Education is preferred. Demonstrated commitment to Catholic education and child safety. Application Procedure Prepare a cover letter, CV and two referees.
