As a Stewarding team member you will be responsible for maintaining the entire Food & Beverage spaces including the many kitchens, bars and restaurants. This position is a physically demanding role with tight time constraints and a high level of attention to detail but very rewarding with a great sense of accomplishment at the end of the day This is a fantastic opportunity where you will ensure the highest levels of health and hygiene are maintained across our Food & Beverage outlets at The Star Sydney. A few of your responsibilities: Working closely with the Culinary team to ensure all restaurant equipment is cleaned and restocked ready for every service Cleaning equipment through dishwasher, hot wash, and recycling of materials Ensuring cleaning checklists completed and hygiene standards are maintained Maintain overall cleanliness and organisation of Food and Beverage venues What are we looking for: Flexible availability across a 7-day roster Previous experience in kitchen cleaning or heavy manual labour (highly desired) Good communication skills, with a positive and professional attitude Ability to work both solo and as part of large team Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products, techniques methods (desired but not essential) About you: With your exceptional attention to detail and customer service skills, you will take pride in delivering an unforgettable experience for our guests. Your ability to work collaboratively with a large and diverse team will set our Food and Beverage team up for success. Your role will be pivotal in shaping the success of our venues at The Star.
