Overview Join to apply for the Principal Insurance Broker, Transport role at Marsh in either Melbourne or Adelaide. This is a hybrid role with a requirement to work at least three days in the office. We are seeking a talented insurance professional to join Marsh’s Affinity segment within the Auto, Trades and Transport team. You will be a senior member responsible for the retention, growth and profitability of a portfolio of key SME accounts, developing client relationships, acting as the client’s trusted advisor, pursuing new business development with the Growth team, and expanding Marsh products and services for our clients. Responsibilities Manage a portfolio of key accounts, ensuring a high level of quality customer service for all clients. Mentor, coordinate and develop staff through clear communication, delegation and performance management. Apply an understanding of the client’s business, risk management and insurance needs to ensure services continue to meet their needs and expectations. Lead, plan and implement renewal and broking strategies to meet client expectations. Actively develop additional business from the existing portfolio. What you need to have Tier 1 Insurance Broking Compliance Accreditation (ANZIIF or equivalent). 5+ years’ experience managing a portfolio of SME clients; transport experience is highly regarded. Technical skills in key General Insurance classes including Industrial Special Risks, General Liability, Motor Fleet, Marine and Accident & Health. Prior experience managing a small team.
