From lab‑grown meat to the gut‑brain axis, renewable energy to feeding colonies on Mars, Stile is helping teachers (a.k.a. superheroes) prepare our young people for the world they’re living in. We’re on a mission to build the best science curriculum in the known universe. We want students equipped with the critical‑thinking skills and problem‑solving tools needed to tackle the big issues of today, and tomorrow. Today, more than 1‑in‑3 Australian secondary schools teach with our science curriculum. Tomorrow, the same will be true in the USA.It’s widely loved. But we’re only just getting started, and we need your help As ScienceEducation Adviser – Team Lead at Stile, you’ll drive the vision of our science teaching and learning resources in Australia and the US. You’ll be creating the end‑to‑end curriculum of your dreams—from the scope and sequence to every lab, video, question and assessment. To bring this vision to life, you’ll lead a team of incredibly talented designers, illustrators, scientists, writers, editors, educators and engineers to create resources that will inspire and challenge young minds. We’re looking for someone who lives and breathes STEM education. Someone who delights in crafting innovative ways to engage students in real‑world issues. Someone who is passionate about improving the standard of education available to students around the world. Why you’re going to love it Changes you make have an impact on a national, and increasingly global, scale. Half of Australia’s 7‑10 students use the curriculum you’re crafting and refining. We invest millions of dollars every year into the development of our science curriculum. We are not aware of anyone else investing to this level, or even close. Colleagues worth working with. You’ll join an amazing 70‑strong team of teachers, scientists, artists and engineers, including Australia’s former chief scientist. Imagine a workplace where everyone genuinely cares about—and is working towards—improving scientific literacy amongst our young citizens. We hold ourselves and each other to a high standard and love what we do. Work on something that really matters . In partnership with teachers, we’re coaching students to become problem solvers and critical thinkers. The internet democratised information. We believe that, with a strong command of science, tomorrow’s citizens and leaders have a fighting chance of sorting the misinformation from the facts. Spend time in classrooms, working with teachers and students to refine your resources. So far this year the Stile team has taught well in excess of 100 classes, and observed hundreds more. Expect to teach and demonstrate the lessons you’ve created alongside your colleagues. Expect to attend major science conferences. No ivory towers here. How you’ll spend your time You’ll work side‑by‑side with our ‘dream team’ of other teachers, simulation designers, illustrators, animators and editors to make the best science resource in the known universe. This role will vary from day to day. It will always be interesting but might include: Maintaining and refining Stile’s recommended scope and sequence for all oursupported markets in Australia and the US. Finding innovative ways to take the best aspects of the Australian and International science curricula and bringing them together to create phenomena-driven units of work that will engage teachers and students around the world. Lead ongoing research into international science education systems to identify emerging best practice and evidence‑based pedagogy. Design, document and evaluate specialist digital learning materials, professional‑learning workshops and teacher‑certification pathways that resolve immediate classroom needs. Collaborate with teachers, curriculum authorities and school leaders to determine areas of research focus and help implement new policies. Maintain impact‑measurement dashboards and publish quarterly reports on course effectiveness, uptake and learning‑growth metrics. Advise teachers and school leadership on adopting digital authoring tools, AI tools, LMS platforms and emerging STEM technologies, providing hands‑on training where needed. Building and maintaining an advisory board of the best science educators across the globe. Visit classrooms and conferences in Australia and the US to pilot lessons, collect feedback and model best‑practice teaching.
