We are seeking a highly motivated leader to be Centre Director. Add expected salary to your profile for insights The Role We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled leader who can lead our team of 20 staff. You will be expected to learn how to lead a team of Educators to ensure they are working in accordance with the service philosophy, policy and procedures, and as per the National Quality Standards (NQS), to provide high-quality education and care for all enrolled children. You will primarily be non-teaching, leading the team through positive engagement, role modelling, and mentorship. Strong understanding of industry legislation, compliance and regulations Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong and confident in an understanding of business management. Ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively in a team environment. Strong understanding of the importance of family communications Leadership and mentoring skills Passionate about implementing early learning programs Bachelor's in early childhood education (approved by ACECQA) or working towards this qualification/ Diploma Education and Care minimum 2yrs experience Experience within the industry. Current Working with Children Check. A current First Aid Certificate. National Police Check. Ability to work shifts between 7.30am - 6:00pm full time Monday to Friday A sound knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS). The ability to develop effective & positive working relationships. An understanding of policies, procedures and regulations. Desire to continually learn and add value to our childcare centres. Ability to make businessdecisions and work with assigned budgets. Experience managing a services day to day operations and managing teams.
