Quality & Compliance Officer

Role Support internal and external audits to ensure compliance with Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) requirements and cGMP standards. Assist in developing and maintaining quality management systems and documentation. Analyse audit outcomes, identify risks and quality issues, and assist with corrective and preventive actions. Collaborate across teams to promote continuous improvement, professional learning and regulatory compliance. About You A degree in medical science, science, applied science or a related field (qualification in Quality Management highly regarded). Experience working in a medical, scientific, or regulatory environment. Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills. Knowledge of quality systems, risk management and regulatory frameworks (TGA, cGMP). About Us The Queensland Tissue Bank (QTB) is Queensland's sole facility for the provision of donated human tissues for therapeutic use. QTB performs all stages of tissue procurement including donor identification, screening and consent; and all stages of tissue preparation including retrieval, processing, storage, dispatch, and quality management. Banked tissues include bone, skin, eye and heart valves. Queensland has the largest tissue bank in Australia and provides therapeutic tissue products for both local and interstate use. The QTB plays a part in informing both state and national policy on tissue banking.
