A standout opportunity is available for an experienced and commercially focused ICT executive to step into the role of CIO APAC. Based in their Brisbane CBD office full time, this position leads the regional technology function across a broad, multi-site APAC footprint, supporting critical operations and delivering secure, reliable, fit‑for‑purpose technology services. This role is ideal for a pragmatic ICT leader who excels in service management, cyber uplift, governance, risk, infrastructure, and operational performance, while building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders in a fast‑paced, customer‑centric environment. Why this role matters This CIO position plays a pivotal part in enabling business performance across a large regional network. You will strengthen technology governance, uplift security posture, optimise service delivery, and ensure operational readiness across all sites. Experience across venues, entertainment, sports, events, tourism, hospitality, or other large public‑facing, high‑volume environments will be highly regarded due to the scale and complexity involved. What you’ll be doing Leading ICT operations, governance, cybersecurity, and compliance across APAC Aligning regional initiatives with business objectives and global standards Overseeing infrastructure supporting mission‑critical operational systems Improving service delivery, user adoption, system reliability, and technology integration Uplifting cybersecurity maturity and managing ICT risk Strengthening business continuity, resilience, and disaster recovery capability Partnering closely with operational leaders, executives, and external partners Providing insights and reporting for operational and commercial decision‑making Driving incremental digital transformation and process improvement Managing one direct report and coordinating distributed ICT teams About you You’re an influential, outcomes‑focused ICT leader with a track record of leading technology across complex, multi‑site, or high‑volume organisations. You bring: 10+ years’ experience in senior ICT leadership roles Strong capability across infrastructure, operations, cyber, governance, and vendor ecosystems Proven experience uplifting service delivery, compliance, and technology maturity Exceptional stakeholder engagement, communication, and commercial judgement A collaborative, resilient, customer‑focused leadership style Apply now If you’re ready to lead ICT capability across APAC and drive operational excellence, we’d love to hear from you.
