Your ImpactOur Tax team are seeking an experienced taxation professional to join them in the role of Group Tax Manager, based in Melbourne. You will gain exposure to all areas of our business as you take responsibility for providing tax advisory and compliance support on a broad range of direct and indirect tax matters, both within Australia and internationally. Other parts of your remit will include transfer pricing, tax risk management and some tax compliance activities.Key responsibilities• Transfer pricing – responsible for overseeing the preparation of annual transfer pricing documentation and ensuring that all related compliance obligations are met (eg CbCR, local and master file etc); participating in global initiatives (eg implementing global TP policies) and advising on cross-border transactions.• Tax compliance – analysing and providing support on technical and international aspects of the tax return (eg CFC calculations, international dealings schedule, hybrids analysis, IDS, thin capitalisation and RTP).• Tax advisory / business partnering – working as the key tax contact on business projects and initiatives (eg transactions, contract review) to provide tax advice, support and sign-off as required• Support the management of tax audits, reviews and tax reputational issues in Australia and abroad, including undertaking pro-active risk assessments and mitigation.• Assisting our global parent company with Japanese reporting obligations.• Managing and mentoring junior colleagues (one direct report to this role).• Develop strong and effective relationships with key stakeholders across the business.About YouYou will have a degree in Law, Accounting, Finance or Tax and have had at least eight years post graduate experience in large multinationals or professional services firms. The preferred candidate will also have a professional qualification (CA, CPA and / or Masters of Tax/Law). This experience has provided you with extensive exposure to and knowledge of cross border tax issues impacting multinational businesses and international tax laws.Naturally hardworking and collaborative in approach, your passion for tax is combined with outstanding communication and project management skills and an ability to provide accurate, professional and credible advice to a wide variety of stakeholders.Asahi Beverages is a leading multi-beverage organisation with a rich and varied history.
