About the role Support leadership and staff: Assist managers with recruitment, staff appraisals, training records, performance reviews and day‑to‑day administrative tasks. Keep our systems on track: Accurately maintain rosters, payroll and leave data (Kronos, QARS, Qualtrics, Hand Hygiene Australia) and generate reports on finance and quality indicators. Coordinate operations: Manage stock levels, purchasing and equipment maintenance to ensure clinical teams have what they need to deliver outstanding patient care. Drive quality and improvement: Support audits, accreditation and research activities and help ensure compliance with hospital quality and safety standards. Be the communication hub: Manage meeting schedules, take minutes, liaise with Payroll and assist with non-clinical communications across medical, nursing and allied health teams. About you Excellent organisational and time‑management skills with the ability to prioritise competing tasks and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment. Strong initiative and attention to detail, capable of managing multiple responsibilities with minimal supervision. Advanced computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint with a typing speed of at least 50 WPM. Experience in a healthcare setting with a compassionate and professional approach when interacting with patients, carers and clinical staff, always maintaining confidentiality and sensitivity. Outstanding communication and teamwork abilities with the confidence to engage effectively with diverse colleagues and contribute positively to a supportive, high‑volume clinical environment. About the hospital In this role you will be based at St Vincents Hospital Darlinghurst. A busy inner‑city hospital in a beautiful location.
