We’re currently seeking a hands‑on and experienced Operations Manager to join our Smeaton Grange team, a key leadership role with a clear succession pathway to the Site Manager position. Key Responsibilities Deliver the agreed production plan within budget, ensuring efficient conversion of raw materials into finished goods. Drive operational excellence through best‑practice systems and processes under the One Harvest Production System (OPS). Champion food and people safety across all factory floors. Maintain and report on site KPIs, driving continuous improvement across safety, delivery, quality, and financial outcomes. Manage business and site changes effectively, fostering collaboration and engagement across teams. Lead and mentor operations team, setting clear performance standards and supporting professional growth. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. Develop succession plans and internal bench strength, preparing future leaders for success. Encourage collaboration across sites to share best practice and harmonise operations. Skills & Experience Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written & verbal), with experience leading large teams and maximising performance. Previous management experience in a similar industry is advantageous. Strong computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Solid understanding of effective rostering and labour management. Exceptional organisation, problem‑solving, and time‑management skills, with the ability to delegate and manage performance. Ability to work under pressure and multitask, collaborating effectively with stakeholders across all business areas. Strong business acumen with the ability to deliver objectives on time, including setting and managing budgets.
