Mobile Core Network Project Managers

About the role Key Skills: At least 10 years of experience in Networks project management, specifically on Ericsson/Nokia Mobile 3G/4G/5G core working with operators like Optus (preferred) or other operators in Australia such as TPG/Telstra, and with vendors including Ericsson, Nokia, and Huawei. This role will work in the Customer’s Network Engineering group, which is responsible for the core of the Customer’s existing network, including 4G/5G packet, data & voice core, messaging services, real‑time services, and cloud infrastructure. It is a full‑time senior project manager position that requires interaction with a range of internal and external stakeholders and the simultaneous management of several of the Customer’s projects. Job Responsibilities Focus on completing a project efficiently and promptly. Manage several projects concurrently. Lead project meetings, steering committee meetings, and planning sessions. Coordinate staff and internal resources. Track project progress and adapt work as required. Maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders. Design and sign off on contracts. Oversee all incoming and outgoing project documentation. Conduct project reviews and create detailed reports for executive staff. Optimize and improve processes and overall approach where necessary. Manage large and diverse teams. Qualifications and Requirements At least five years’ experience working in the telecommunications industry. Formal qualifications in management (or related field) are preferred. Background working in telecommunications core network is preferable. Required Skills Strong written and verbal communication skills. Capacity to manage high‑stress situations. Ability to multi‑task and manage various project elements simultaneously.
